SKIN REJUVENATION
DP4 MICRONEEDLING
The Dp4 micro needling device glides over the skin creating millions of microchannels via fine, vertical fractional channels. These channels help deliver 80% more topical nutrients deeper into the epidermis (outer layer of the skin). By performing controlled damage to the skin, and then nourishing it post procedure we are encouraging the fibroblasts in our skin to produce fresh skin with faster cellular turnover and increased collagen and elastin. MICRONEEDLING WITH REJURAN
Rejuran is one of the most popular skin boosters from South Korea, using polynucleotides derived from salmon sperm DNA to help improve skin texture, pigmentation, GLOW and stimulate collagen and elastin production. Rejuran also promotes angogenesis which is the formation of new blood vessels to help skin maintain its elasticity and firmness.
HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM HOME DERMAL ROLLERS?
Dp4 is a fractional microneedling device with unique spring loaded disposable sterile needle tips that are changed after each patient ensuring ultimate sterility. It also uses an automated vibrating stamp like motion ensuring less trauma to the skin than often blunt, unsterile home dermalrollers.
WHAT CONDITIONS DOES DP4 MICRONEEDLING IMPROVE?
DP4 helps to improve fine lines and wrinkles, active acne, rosacea, scars, keloids, sun damage, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, melasma, vitiligo, enlarged pores, and hair loss.
RESULTS
Patients typically see results within 3-6 treatments, however this differs patient to patient based on skin type, sun exposure, sunscreen use and lifestyle modifications. The condition of skin after microneedling will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months.
PROCEDURE TIME
Around 60-90 minutes depending on the area and addition add on of PDGF or exosomes.
DOWNTIME
Differs patient to patient, however it generally has little to no downtime. After the procedure, patients
are allowed to resume normal activities without restriction. It is common to experience redness, inflammation or skin tightness but this normally fades within 12-48 hours. During this time, it is extremely pertinent to use sunscreen (SPF 50 or higher) while outdoors.
PAIN LEVEL
Differs patient to patient, however most patients find the treatment very tolerable. Before the
treatment, topical numbing will be applied for 30 minutes to help minimize discomfort during the procedure. With this, most patient's tolerate this lunch time procedure very well.
RESULTS

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Microneedling is not recommended for patients who are pregnant, breast feeding, on anticoagulants or anti-platelet medications, Isotretinoin, or Accutane. In addition, patients who have active psoriasis, active herpes simplex, scleroderma, open lesions, skin cancer, undiagnosed moles, active lupus, active collagen vascular disease, acne vulgaris stage IV, warts, undiagnosed solar keratosis in the affected area. Additionally, auto-immune disorders, HIV, diabetes, history of keloid scars, and active vitiligo are contraindications. All micro needling patients will talk with our PA or physician prior to the treatment going over all contraindications, questions and concerns.
BOOSTER/MAINTENANCE TREATMENTS
Dp4 Microneedling can offer long lasting results with regularly scheduled maintenance appointments to further extend the longevity of our treatment. Addition of Epicutis Post Procedure Kit and redlight therapy is offered complimentary. We have seen great results with reduction in redness and inflammation with use post procedure.
