WHAT IS MIRADRY?

miraDry is a treatment administered by a licensed healthcare practitioner that uses thermal energy to permanently eliminate sweat glands and significantly reduce sweat, odor and hair in as little as one treatment.

WHAT IS HYPERHIDROSIS?

Hyperhidrosis is excessive perspiration that is caused by overactive sweat glands. The causes of hyperhidrosis range from anxiety to certain medical conditions such as diabetes. Genetics is also thought to play a role, but the link is yet unproven. Regardless of the cause, the problem is the same: sweat stains and worry that people will notice how much you’re sweating.

DURATION

60-90 MINUTES

RECOVERY TIME

Some localized soreness or swelling will occur and typically clears within one to two weeks. Some patients have short-term altered sensation in the skin of their underarms or upper arms, which gradually fades. Bruising and sensitivity in the underarm area for several days post-treatment may also occur.

RESULTS

Patients can expect immediate, long-lasting results. Once the miraDry treatment eliminates sweat and odor glands, they’re gone for good. The treatment is clinically proven to have an average of 82% sweat and odor reduction. As with any aesthetic treatment results, patient results and experience may vary.
